Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide Direct Pupil Support: Work closely with assigned students, both inside and outside the classroom, to implement individual education plans (IEPs), offer emotional and behavioural support, and adapt learning materials to suit their specific needs.
  • Facilitate Inclusive Learning: Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive environment by differentiating tasks, using specialist equipment (e.g., sensory tools, communication aids), and ensuring all students can participate fully in lessons and activities.
  • Monitor & Record Progress: Accurately observe and record pupils' academic and social progress, providing regular feedback to the teacher, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and parents/guardians as required.

Essential Requirements & Qualifications
