Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Access Control & Patrols: Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles, people, and items at client sites in EC2. Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of buildings and perimeters, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
- CCTV & Surveillance Operation: Proactively monitor CCTV systems, alarm panels, and other security technology to detect and respond to any suspicious activity, breaches, or safety hazards in real-time.
- Incident Reporting & Management: Maintain detailed, accurate logs and reports of all incidents, disturbances, and safety-related issues. Act as a first point of contact for emergency services when required.
- Customer Service & Liaison: Provide a professional, authoritative, and helpful presence. Assist staff, visitors, and contractors, offering directions and ensuring a secure yet welcoming environment.
- Emergency Response: Execute emergency procedures, including fire alarm evacuations, and provide initial first aid if necessary. Uphold the highest standards of health and safety on site.
Essential Requirements & Qualifications
- A valid, in-date SIA (Security Industry Authority) Licence – either Door Supervisor or Security Guarding.
- Proven experience as a Security Guard, Officer, or Steward. Previous work in London EC2 or similar commercial environments is a strong advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to write clear, concise incident reports.
