Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties

  • Social & Emotional Engagement: Building positive relationships with residents, providing companionship, and encouraging participation in social activities and hobbies to support their mental well-being.
  • Clinical Support & Monitoring: Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) to undertake tasks such as taking and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse), simple wound dressings, and supporting with medication administration (following competency assessment).
  • Documentation & Communication: Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential records in line with care plans. Effectively communicating any changes in a resident’s condition to the senior nurse or team leader.
  • Maintaining a Safe Environment: Contributing to a clean, safe, and homely environment. This includes light domestic tasks related to resident areas and adhering to strict infection control and health & safety protocols.

What We're Looking For: Essential Requirements
